Marrow

A restaurant that changes its menu daily and its mind never.

Marrow — the pass at service

The brief

Marrow reopened with a kitchen philosophy — whatever the market had that morning — and a identity problem: how do you brand a restaurant whose menu is never the same twice?

The answer we pitched: brand the constancy, not the dishes. The room, the ritual, the eight-seat pass. Let the menu be weather.

The approach
01

A system set like a table

The identity is a grid of placements — wordmark top left like a fork, tonight's date where the knife goes. Every menu is different; every menu is unmistakably Marrow.

02

Menus as the daily print

A one-page template the sous chef fills at 4pm and prints at 5. Typography does the plating: courses set like a tasting order, wines in the margins.

03

A site that takes reservations, not screenshots

No food photography older than today. The site shows the room, the date, and what the market gave — pulled from the same file the kitchen prints.
